Linus, a primeira sandália vegana do Brasil

Linus is a pioneer in producing Brazil's first vegan sandal. The company partnered with AFESU to reinforce its commitment to sustainability while supporting the development of young talents. Somai, an AFESU partner for over four years, led the project's execution.

O desafio

Um problema de negócio na mesa das alunas

Corporate social responsibility programs often turn into lectures and photo ops. Linus wanted the opposite: they put a real business problem on the table for the students.

The challenge proposed to the AFESU students was to develop effective and sustainable solutions for cleaning Linus's vegan sandals, with room for topics related to the brand's universe: pets, sports, and outdoor living.

Two classes from the Veleiros unit participated: Basic Technology, with 27 young people, and Applied Technology Management, with 28.

Results

Solution for a real-world problem that truly exists

Three institutions involved — Linus, AFESU, and Somai — and 55 young people producing solutions for a problem that truly exists in the supply chain of a real product.

The final evaluation was answered by 48 participants: 93.8% of the responses (45 out of 48) concentrated on the top two scores of the scale in the evaluation of the classes. Among the preferred contents were 3D modeling in Tinkercad, prototype creation, and the pitch.

"I loved it, I'm very happy. The winners truly deserved it."
